It was a good day

Had a pretty good day yesterday!  Even though the scale was up a little this morning, it wasn't quite as bad as I had feared.  Only up .8 for today's weigh in .  Not too bad I suppose after not being able to exercise too much last week and the horrible weekend eating.

After work yesterday, I met with my mom and we went to the gym.  Managed an hour on the Elliptical and watched an episode of Doctor Who.  I had to try to stop myself from laughing out loud though.  I was watching "The Poison Sky" episode and the Doctor has to put on a gas mask.  It cut to a scene with Donna and then back to Ten and he had the mask on and said "Are you my mummy".   It started with a giggle loop that I had to work really hard to stifle.  I'm sure my neighbor on the elliptical next to me must have thought I had lost my mind.

Eating went pretty good yesterday too.  I was within my range and I stuck with my portions so all in all, it really was a good day!

And here's a silly pic of Doyle to match my mood today.

    1. Thank you! I replied to you by email but I'll also reply here too. I normally eat oatmeal or Red Berries Special K cereal during the week. During the weekend, on Saturdays especially if I have a long run, I'll normally do a protein smoothie instead of food. Sundays, I spurge and eat pancakes!

    1. Oh I'll have to check into that one. I really need to dust off my 30 Day Shred again and get that going once more. I may wait and do that during the winter though. Dunno. Will see. :)

  4. Silly kitty!

I say if it's less than a 1lb gain it's all good. Be careful watching Doctor Who while working out. You might fall over in a fit of giggles!

  5. I know the not being able to exercise thing is a real kicker isn't it! I have to admit that "are you my mummy?" way creepier than any other villan's catch phrase!

    1. It really is! I have some Doctor Who figurines on my desk at work and that creepy kid is one of them. Each time I look at him I say, "Are you my mummy"...

That was such a good episode!

    1. Thanks! Yep, our 3 are a handful too. Chris will threaten to divorce me if I bring another cat home. Now dog, however, he's agreed to once we get the fence built. Yay!

  9. Thanks for visiting! And so glad I came in to find a fellow 'geek'. Can I just recreate your header with the t-shirts? Too perfect!

I try to remind myself that .8 or any other minor gain is just that, a minor gain. It could be from sodium or hormones or whatever. You are doing this the right way and it shows. Keep it up!
